umthombo surf team
ok, hell of a night last night. friends birthday and had way too much to drink. could have sworn I was still drunk this morning when I went for a surf to try clear my head. 35 degrees today so now tired and sun burnt.
back to yesterday. Sandile from Umthombo organised a surfing competition in Umzumbe between the durban street kids and the Umzumbe kids. It was a great success with everyone involved having an amazing time. the guys from Umthombo looking super smart in their new lizzard gear. it was cool to see the street kids from durban surfing and just hanging out on the beach, as it should be. prize giving put a smile on their faces as they all walked away with something.
